Cat Battle with Luna and BabyCat (AKA Little Ricky)

Thanks for reading this dramatic true story! Don't worry- they play fight like this all the time and are actually very good cat-buddies. This takes place on my drawing desk almost daily.

I meant to have a big Skadi post up by now, but Luke's computer died twice in a row and I haven't been able to get his files. But I should have it up pretty soon! I hope you'll come back to check it out...

How to make a Luna trap...

...or a "noonytrap", as I like to call them.

Click to see better! This is me and Luna's morning ritual.

Cheesy! My newest favorite thing is making little stories on post-its. I hope you like this one because I will be making more. Here are some more cat doodles...

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I really like this one actually!

This drawing looks like how I drew 6 years ago! Weird.

I did some vanity post-its too...

I'm going on a vacation to the other side of the US in 2 weeks, and this is my exploring outfit! I am wearing pants for once!

More vanity...I cut my bangs and drew a weird little self portrait.

While we are on the subject of cats and vanity, check out these cards I got for my birthday last month, featuring my two kitties!! Tara did this first one, which incorporates my two favorite things...kitties and hillbillies! Soooo rad...

And here's one from Nico! I like that he caricatured my weird looking cats, and designed an outfit for me that I would really wear in real life.

Ben
made this super gorgeous card for me too, and I was lucky enough to receive it in person! It's HUGE!!! Huge and pretty and I love it!

I'm super busy with work and Skadi and preparing for my trip, but I'll definitely be back to post some more crap before I leave. Thanks everyone!

***P.S.
This Wednesday starts a special 5-part Halloween Skadi story on Dumm Comics, so check it out!

kitty komick and other crap

People seemed to like the comic I did about Luna and Ricky last month, so I made another one. You'll probably have to click it to make it look ok. This happened the other day:

I did some more profile doodles from my current favorite reference book, "Least Wanted". If you have any interest in scary and bizarre looking people, you need this book!

I also took a break from work and drew some pretty faces off of Facebook. These are all talented and funny girls, some of which I'm lucky to have met in person, and others I hope to someday.

Some Taras, a Lindsay, some Mollys, a Becky, and another Emmy. These aren't very accurate- I was kind of in a work induced daze when I did these.

and a spatula wielding Christine!

Thanks for looking! (UuU)

Skadi and the Hill People

If you read Dumm Comics, you've already seen these, but I wanted to post them here so they could all be together in one place! This comic is my first attempt to do a full "story," with a beginning, middle and end. Luke still helped a lot of course...he helped me with making the layouts pretty, designed the backgrounds, and came up with the color scheme. I came up with the idea, the designs, and drew about 85% of the layouts. If you haven't already read this, I hope you like it!

This thing took a lot of after-work hours to make! Some of the man/cannibal designs are a bit lame, but I'm happy anyhow, because it's out of my comfort zone to try and draw that kind of thing.
Drawing those tards ended up being the funnest part though, actually.

we are smart

Some extra info- a lot of the side characters in this, like Ethoch and the Cannibal Queen (is she the kings wife, daughter, or both?), are crossover characters from another personal project I haven't shown around much yet.

Moongirls and comic fanart is still coming soon!

Petting Zoo Comic

I finished it early! That means I do studio work all day tomorrow. AND I learned that it takes about 5 times longer for me to color in Photoshop than it does in Flash or with marker. No more Photoshop coloring until I learn how to do it the easy way.

Anyway this comic is a true story!

Em swears she didn't say "I'm not responsible for this!!!" but I totally remember hearing it, and since it's funny to me I kept it in. I'm sure she'll chew me out later.

If you enjoyed my insipid story, I have older posts with my high school friends as well!
Meet them here!

And here are some drawings I did right after the petting zoo incident took place.

And here’s a comic about a dream I had with some of my HS buddies.

Some more fun: here is the photo taken of Em, 6 seconds before she got yelled at and fell off of the poo barrel. I wish I'd taken one of the aftermath, but I was pretty flustered.

Don't kill me, highschool friends!!

I'm tired...goodnight!

Christmas Axe Murder

Here is a late holiday story for you, because right now the only acceptable drawings I have to show are from secret projects! It was inspired because my brother Pete and I found a cool looking axe in the backseat.

When winter winds blow cold and food is low, one must look elsewhere for meat!

shhh...

unsuspecting...

RARRRR!!!!

There is no where to run...

The first blow

Anguish

Pulling the axe out is hard work...

nom nom nom

You'd be next, but this meat will last me the whole winter...

Adding insult to injury

stab stab

*phew*

Dump the body where it's closer to home...

One last bite to tide me over for the time being

After a hearty meal I enjoy rolling around next to my food.

Shit!! He's not all the way dead!!

Thanks Pete for making this with me!

Actual drawings coming soon! Work and other life stresses are making casual drawing a bit difficult at the moment, but I'm working on it!
